Anyone who has ever fallen knows what a frightening experience it is. A simple fall can be a major life-changing event. It can decrease your mobility, independence, and lead to hospitalization. Improvement in balance & mobility has been shown to effectively lower the risk of falls, injury, and loss of independence.
Specialists at Dynamic Physical Therapy can help you assess and lower your risk of falls via our customized Fall Risk Assessment & Conditioning Program.

The assessment determines if you are “at risk” of falling. A comprehensive series of tests will identify the factors causing you to be at risk and may include:
- A comprehensive medical history
- Review of current medications
- Fall history & fall potential testing
- Comprehensive evaluation by a physical therapist
- Gait & balance assessment
- Walking aide assessment
- Home hazards analysis
Conditioning Program:
The conditioning part of the program is designed to modify the factors causing you to be “at risk”. Your assessment will be analyzed by a therapist and you will be provided with a customized program designed just for you and based on the latest research evidence. The program will address:
- Environmental Factors: are modified by helping you eliminate hazards at home.
- Physical Factors: are modified with an exercise and balance plan designed just for you and will address mobility/flexibility, strength, balance, cardiovascular/endurance, walking speed & walking aids.

Do you suffer from:
- Balance difficulties
- A history of falls
